Logitech's G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse Is Perfect For The Mac Gamer
In case you didn’t notice this mouse is Windoes only. Which means you will have to buy a third party software package like Steermouse which may or may not support all the functions on the mouse. Things like Onboard memory profiles and Sensitivity switching.
If you read the fine print at the bottom of the page is says:
* Logitech® SetPoint™ software required for initial setup and is available at logitech.com/downloads. *** Some profile settings require SetPoint to be enabled and are not supported on Mac®, Linux® and earlier Windows®-based operating systems.
All that said Logitech’s support of mac products is abysmal anyway and they are a company not worth supporting as a Mac user anymore. I used to love them but their updates to blatantly buggy and often times non-working software are few and far between. Case in point the Logitech G keyboard software was last updated in February of this year and many of the features just don’t work. The software also causes CPU’s to over work. That’s eight months without an update. Logitech’s mac mouse software isn’t much better and they don’t support the G series mice on the Mac at all.
