Lenovo Mini Wireless Keyboard N5901

Back when Media Center PCs were king and Internet-enabled TVs only a glimmer in an engineer’s eye (which is to say, just a few years ago), the hunt was always on for the perfect keyboard to use from the couch—but that fox chase never quite caught the fox. We tested the very good (but pricey, even today) Logitech DiNovo Mini , as well as some decent one-off contenders from the likes of Microsoft and Adesso , but we never found the perfect couch-side companion. That’s why, even with the Media Center PC’s star fading and the TV set’s remote control the heir apparent to the home-theater keyboard, we were nonetheless excited by a new contender: Lenovo's Mini Wireless Keyboard N5901.
Not widely known for its input devices, Lenovo nonetheless has a stake in this market, with its deep line of all-in-one (AIO) desktop PCs. Smaller AIOs tend to have LCD screens too small for practical use much further than arms’ length away. But AIO models at the upper end of the range (like Lenovo’s 23-inch IdeaCentre B500 ) can serve as bedroom or dorm-room TV/PCs. For computers like these, many users want a less-awkward interface than the standard keyboard-plus-mouse when reclining.
