I have a wireless PCI card installed in my pc. but I want it to act as a wireless router. How do I do that?
It can not. It is only for connecting to a wireless router. The router is the key to that.

What is the name of the windows wireless PCI card driver?
Feb 20, 2008 by Lewis A | Posted in Add-ons
hello i what is the name of the windows pci wireless card driver .inf
you know what i mean lol
please help
I just need the name of the standard driver so i can use a linux program to install the driver on my linux
There are hundreds, even thousands, of different wireless cards, and therefore different drivers. You would need to know the exact model of that card to discover which driver you needed.
There is no standard driver - they are all different. Linux can use ndiswrapper to attempt to use windows drivers in linux, but you need the driver that is specific to the card that you are using.

IT security auditors are NOT evil and could keep you from getting hacked

As I sit here writing my first blog entry, while attempting to recover from a week in Las Vegas spent taking in the sights, sounds, and insanity that only Black Hat and DEF CON can inflict on a mere mortal (robots and ninjas are immune, or so I have been told), I can’t help but to be amazed by how many security issues could be prevented with a strong security auditing and assessment program. This year’s con was full of new technology exploits like GSM phone sniffing with off the shelf parts (costing about $1500) and the infamous Hole 196 vulnerability discovered in WPA2’s implementation of group temporal key (GTK) encryption allowing an authenticated client with a modified wireless driver to spoof an access point for man-in-the middle attacks and other wireless shenanigans. While technology vulnerabilities were on display, the part that interested me the most (besides counting the number of mohawks) was how so many of the talks were focused on exploiting fundamental aspects of security that could have been identified and mitigated if network security audits were conducted on a regular basis and the weaknesses and risks found were acted on in a timely manner. It doesn’t take a skilled hacker to perform social engineering or exploit poorly implemented technologies.
how do i run 3 monitors ? - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

It's a fanless low profile PCIe card (bandwidth is important if you plan on streaming HD content and stuff, PCI might not be able to do that fast enough, so I went PCIe). So this one is quiet (fanless), simple, small, has DVI and HDMI so I can connect to anything. Fantastic. I mixed it with my 8800GT which also has two displays on it. When I game, I game on 3 monitors typically. Otherwise, I just game on my HDTV while my other 3 displays just show windows, websites, video, etc. My 8800GT renders, and the other video card just displays the results (I use SoftTH software for this). Otherwise, you can stretch games across your displays in a window (I do this often too). It's cheap for what it does, a digital tuner, with a remote. Works fine in Windows 7 x64. Great quality. I hooked it up to a digital antenna and I just take free HD content over the air. I don't pay for any service. But you could plug into cable if you actually buy it. Works great with Windows Media Center so you can pause live TV, record, etc. Lovely for the price. PCIe (1.0) so it fits into those near useless slots, and takes advantage of the bandwidth of PCIe 1.0 for the high data rates of HD content.
