Are there any devices similar to USB Wi-Fi Nintendo. I need something that requires either a USB port on my broadband internet connected computer. Or a USB port on my modem. PLEASE I need to find something because Nintendo discontinued their wifi usb connector! She needs to "create" a WiFi signal. Not receive one. I prefer to buy this device or the Nintendo USB connector into a store and not online. So I can return if it doesn't work for me.
Can I share an internet connection from a USB wifi to a wifi router?
Feb 16, 2008 by ajudem7 | Posted in Computer Networking
I have an edimax 802.11g mini USB adapter and an asus 802.11g wifi router. I would like to know how to share the internet connection from the USB adapter to the wifi router. Thank you for the help!
Well, that is basically backwards. Generally the router "shares" the internet to the computer. The internet connects to the router "WAN" port and the router "transmitts" that wirelessly to your adapter.
Now if you are saying you are picking up another wireless signal and you want to re-route that using your computer to your router you can use ICS (internet connection sharing) from the USB adapter to the ethernet port on your computer and connect the router to the ethernet on your computer. (I have NO IDEA why you would do that but it can be done, just not very well since with ICS you have routing already!)
If you care to expand a little we might can help.
